Achievements: Riley was the consummate show dog and companion. In the ring, he left it all on the field yet at home, he was a gentlemen of the finest degree. Riley earned over 30 BOB and 44 Hall of Fame points, by virtue of five group wins and other group placements, mostly owner-handled. While I recovered from a knee injury, Riley continued in the show ring with Shirlee Murray. He earned a BISS at the age of 7 at the GRCA Western Regional Specialty, once again, owner-handled.
Riley produced many titleholders and the titles ran the gamut of conformation, obedience and field as well as therapy and even an avalanche rescue dog. Thankfully, we live with his newest champion, MWM Rycroft's Frozen Solid, "Chilly." His love for the show ring and his delightful personality live on in this wonderful girl.
Riley was my "Spirit" dog. He graced our lives for almost 16 years and we are humbled by the number of people who loved him too.
